WHAT WE DO

"The summation of our current functions is only a pathway to what we plan to be capable of in the future."

Technical Writing

TIMS provides in-house technical writing services where staff members sit in a designated office space at our client’s facility per contractual agreement.  We are capable of providing remote technical writing service where we produce our clients' needed documentation while preserving all of their rights and proprietary information to the point of delivery and beyond.

We have extensive experience in creating manuals or procedural documentaion covering Assembly, Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Storage of Drilling / Completion / Well Intervention / Testing and Subsea components and tool modules.

Mechanical Design / Drafting

TIMS provides innovative designs for a range of applications to meet our client’s needs.  We aim for our designs to be ahead of current technology but not so futuristic that they are not useful and economically feasible today.  We provide robust enhancements to our clients existing equipment configurations.  The staff at TIMS is open to quick turnaround drafting projects as well as long-term projects or a combination of both.

Assembly Inspection / Witnessing

As we do realize that we are not the only entity that offers downhole equipment inspection and witnessing, we do know that we set ourselves apart in our methodology of how we go about our processes in ensuring that the end user receives more than the anticipated level of quality.  Our reporting is exceptional and structured to our clients needs as we provide all of the necessary details within the submitted documentation so that acitvities can be adequately tracked and on-time decisions can made when changes in operations occur.

Component Testing / Validation

The staff at TIMS exceeds competency level to oversee component testing at the designated facility.  This includes tests conducted within certified and confined high pressure and / or high temperature test cells, tests conducted in subsurface test wells with surface equipment and derrick structures, and functionality test on pre-assembled downhole tool modules suspended vertically in open or in controlled atmospheric chambers.

We have staff that they are dedicated and focused for the long haul in validating packers to ISO 14310 V0 where extended rig-up and rig-down times are required for simulating compression and tension by means of a load jack plus where much time is spent in satisfying pressure and temperature cycles.  Since we are accustomed to overseeing ISO 14310 V0, we witness ISO 14310 grades of less complication (V1...V6 for bridge plugs, ball valves, etc.) with ease.
